THE 6th F'LOMLOK NATIONAL DOG AGILITY CHAMPIONSHIP 2019

The F’lomlok Festival is a week long celebration in commemoration of the founding anniversary of the Municipal Government of Polomolok in South Cotabato. The Socsksargen Canine Sports Club Inc, in partnership with Local Government Unit of Polomolok will be hosting the 6th F'lomlok National Dog Agility Championship on August 31 and September 1, 2019 which will be held at the Municipal Plaza Grandstand of Polomolok. This event is sanctioned by Philippine Dog Athletics Association (PDAA). Top Philippine dogs and handlers team will compete for championships which is expected to attract a jam-packed crowd cheering for their favorite teams.  

EVENTS

Competition opens on Saturday, August 31, 2019, all teams will be competing for championships in NON STANDARD JUMPERS, DISC DOG (DISTANCE & ACCURACY), STANDARD AGILITY and SUPER WEAVE. On the second day, September 1, 2919, all teams will be competing for championships in SNOOKER, DISC DOG (EXTREME DISTANCE) and SLALOM.

 

Highlighting this event is THE P50,000 TITO SANTOS CLEAN RUN CHALLENGE, which features a Jumpers 3 course selected by Tito Santos  from the courses made by Judge Hugo Santos of Sintra, Spain. Dogs of any level may join in this tournament. Dogs will be allowed to re-run the course twice if the handler decides to do so.  

 

AWARDS

All winning dog-handler teams will be awarded with medals for Gold (1st), Silver (2nd) & Bronze (3rd) for each height category (Small 12” and below, Medium 12” to 14.1 & 14.1 to 17”, Large 17.1” to 19” & 19.1 to 21” & Extra Large for over 21”) except for the special event.

 

SPECIAL AWARDS for the Most Valuable Dog and Handler Team trophy (for PDAA registered teams only), and for the Best Club trophy (for PDAA Registered Clubs only) that garner the top accumulated points for each category in the entire 2 days event.

 

The TITO SANTOS CLEAN RUN CHALLENGE is a special event with guaranteed cash prize of P50,000.00 for the winner/s along with Clean Run Certificate.

USDAA Policy Statement on 2017 Measurement Cut-Off Lines & Measurement Process
With the adoption of a new jump height structure for 2017, two new cut-off lines have been established that affect the following new classes:

 

Championship 16” (cut-off at 17”)

Championship 20” (cut-off at 19”)

COMPETITION BRIEF

Competition briefing will be given during welcome dinner by the supervising judge. All clarifications, concerns and issues will be addressed during this briefing.

​

 

SHOW VET

All competing dogs shall be inspected by the show veterinarian upon arrival in Polomolok.   No dog in heat will be allowed to compete.  Bring your health card with updated vaccinations.

​

 

TRANSPORTATION

All participants and guests will be provided with transport service upon arrival to the hotel, during the event, and at departure from hotel to airport. Final briefing for transport service for departure will be announced before leaving dinner venue.

OFFICIAL HEIGHT MEASUREMENT

All dogs will be required to get measured by the USDAA judges in preparation for the issuance of permanent jump height certification.

ENTRY FEES & REGISTRATION

  • P700 per dog, per event​

  • A 50% discount (350 per dog, per event) for advanced registration

  • Tito Santos Clean Run Challenge

    • Entry Fee: P1000 per dog per run.

    • Re-run Fee is P1000 / re-run

  • Registrations will only be accepted online at phildogagility.org.

  • Deadline for registration will be midnight of August 28, 2019.

DOG'S OFFICIAL HEIGHT WILL BE MEASURED BY A PDAA JUDGE DURING ARRIVAL AT THE HOTEL.  NO MORE MEASUREMENT DURING THE COMPETITION DATE.

TO QUALIFY FOR PDAA TITLES, YOUR DOG WILL NEED PDAA REGISTRATION.

PDAA DOG REGISTRATION

A DOG'S PDAA REGISTRATION NUMBER IS NOW REQUIRED TO REGISTER IN ANY PDAA SANCTIONED EVENT.
PDAA DOG REGISTRATION FEE ​P250 per dog (one-time fee)  . Dog gets assigned a permanent PDAA number for future events. THIS IS SEPARATE FROM THE ENTRY FEE FOR THE VARIOUS EVENTS.
